Field Trip Strategy

It was introduce in the year 1827 by Georgy Shillibeer.

What is a field trip?
It is a teaching strategy outside the regular classroom, where we get more and better information about a particular topic.

Features:
  1. facilitates the learning of abstract concepts
  2. motivates students(through increased interest and curiosity)
  3. increase social interaction
  4. develops social awareness
Purpose:
  1. enhance the curriculum
  2. give students  experiential learning experiences
  3. concrete skills
  4. make learning more meaningful and memorable
